Young The Giant covers “Ignition (Remix)”

Remember back in 2004 when all you heard at parties and pretty much everywhere was R Kelly’s monster hit “Ignition (Remix)”…did we ever hear the non-remixed original or has that become one of life’s unsolved mysteries? 

Anyway, The A.V. Club’s Undercover  2012 sessions are back. This is where they take 25 songs that people have voted to be covers, get a band in their little recording space and make them choose a song from the 25 to cover. There some absolute gems on the list this year including “Go Your Own Way”, “Flagpole Sitta”, “PYT”, “Blue Jeans” and “Rumour Has It”. Young The Giant came along and picked R Kelly’s “Ignition” to cover.
