I’ve been super confused recently as to why Ellie Goulding’s 2010 track “Lights” is getting major radio play in the US, it is everywhere at the moment. Still haven’t figured out why but my research lead me to her cover of Active Child’s “Hanging On”. Goulding already released a beautiful cover of The Weeknd earlier this year, putting her stamp all over it and she’s done the same to the lo fi band Active Child, and even brought along Tinie Tempah for the ride.
