Forest Hill // “Clair de Lune (Remix)” included on DJ Fumiya mixtape Jazz Crystal Winter II

When I found this remix I couldn’t really believe my ears. Claude Debussy’s Clair de Lune is my favourite classical piece of music and it will be familiar to ears from Oceans Eleven and (sigh) the first Twilight film. I must have stumbled on this particular remix when I was watching performances of the original youtube and its stuck with me ever since. I have tried and tried to find out more about Forest Hill and the origins of this track and all I really know is that it was included on DJ Fumiya’s Jazz Crystal Winter II mixtape, (which is well worth a listen though expensive, luckily all the parts have been posted on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v85wExxtGyQ&feature=watch_response_rev) It’s illusivity has just added to the mystique surrounding this 7” wonder.
