The Antlers are one of our favourite discoveries of 2011 (yes we know Hospice came out in 2009, we’re clearly not as ‘down’ as we’d like to think) and we were mightily impressed with their follow up Burst Apart released in April. But here’s a track that you may or may not (hey, you’re probably more clued in than us) have heard before. Way back in December 2010, as part of an American Express promotion, three artists Passion Pit, Andrew Bird and The Antlers contributed new or previously unreleased tracks and The Antlers’ Bird Bank was one of them. A happy little synthy instrumental that is miles away from the poignant Hospice though it does remind us a little of Two. Anyway, enjoy Bird Bank.
