Try watching this without a huge smile spreading across your face. It can’t be done. I don’t care what kind of music you’re into, this is just great. Carly Rae Jepson joined Jimmy Fallon and The Roots in the music room to perform “Call Me Maybe” on all those instruments you used to fight over in music class:  The Triangle, Xylophone, Kazoo, Bongos and that weird banana shaped drum with the grooves on it. 

I’m sorry, but I have a huge soft spot for “Call Me Maybe”…it’s just how it is. As a music blogger of sorts I feel wrong admitting to it but hey ho. In an attempt to rectify such a confession here is a cover of said song by folksy singer songwriter Ben Howard turning it into an urgent kind of record- really it completely transforms it.
