So much so, they’ve remixed the fantastic The Old House Is Gone adding to it some heavy house beats and a few extra synths here and there. Been loving The Knocks all summer, through their remixes and their original stuff. They’re finally releasing a full album and Brighside is the first single from it, out October 19. It’s everything you’ve come to expect from The Knocks; big beats and happy time vocals this will get people on the dancefloor no doubt.

It’s not a secret ITYLTS really think Foster The People are going to be huge, and if we can help move that along then our job is done. We’ve already posted on their amazing EP (click on the ‘Foster The People’ tag to see) and we cannot wait for May 24th as their debut album Torches is released. ITYLTS caught them when they came to London a few weeks ago and the new tracks that we heard made us VERY excited for Torches. But let’s get down to business cause its the Remix, baby.

We’ve also posted on The Knocks before who are great producers in their own right (check out Blackout) but this time they’ve turned their creative attention to the Foster The People’s brilliant Pumped Up Kicks. It’s great, but the original is great so they’d have to be awful to screw it up. Thankfully they haven’t and this gets equal play to the original. Enjoy.
